Description: A URL link Button, anchored to a chosen cell in a sheet with grouped columns and rows together with a frozen row and column, will disappear when the columns are concealed. Exposing the columns does not return the button Concealing and exposing the rows returns the button The effect is only apparent when the columns are concealed first If the "Freeze" is removed then any act of concealment will "lose" the button which only returns when the "Freeze" is reinsted Steps to Reproduce: Sample sheet attached Conceal columns using the group handle - Observe Expose columns using the group handle - Observe Conceal Rows using the group handle - Observe Expose Rows using the group handle - Observe Initially, when "unfreezing" [Toolbar button] with cell A12 in focus then the button would also disappear and return upon "refreezing". However, I also moved the cursor to a random location below the "freeze" and then "unfroze" and "refroze" but the button was unaffected. This survives a file save, ergo the freezing action below the existing freeze-row somehow obviates the anomaly associated with the "freezing" action. It should be a simple enough procedure to recreate the sheet and "monitor" the freezing anomaly Note: the range of numbers are just "random fill" to assist in the visualisation and have no impact upon the veracity of the report. Simply selecting and deleting them, cycling through the concealing actions and then undoing all the way back to the pre-deletion status demonstrates this. I did not experiment with placing the button outside the Arctic Circle as that's not my real-world scenario, nor I suspect, particularly relevant. Actual Results: URL Link Button Disappears Expected Results: URL Link Button Remains Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Version: 7.0.5.2 (x64) Build ID: 64390860c6cd0aca4beafafcfd84613dd9dfb63a CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: sv-SE (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded

Immediately adjacent to or distance freezing)unfreezing have the same impact upon the disappearing button > >

This copy and the original are identical and will both malfunction following the original steps.

(In reply to Colin from comment #5) > Created attachment 173826 [details] > Zip with 5 screen dumps and .ods I didn't bother to take screen dumps of removing and reinstating frozen row/column with the menu button.

Dear Colin, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
