Can you be more specific, are you inserting an image or chart? Please attach a document where this happens.

Example for Table links

Above the third table are four links to the second table. Only the text link (the fourth) works for the PDF export.

Looks like ImplementationError from when links were added long ago in LO 3.3.
OO didn't have those links.
Comment 6 Stéphane Guillou (stragu) 2024-03-15 02:46:30 UTC
Reproduced in:

Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: c8b8a2c2cb34a1ae0b0aeee0564b39260258f184
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded

And LO 3.3.

Same with OLE objects.
Comment 7 Stéphane Guillou (stragu) 2024-03-15 02:48:45 UTC
(and same with a URL to a website)

pdf with image links not working

links work in the ods file which I'm also happy to share if it's any use.
Comment 9 Mike Mills 2025-06-09 09:58:53 UTC
I've been using Excel to create pdf trip itineraries for some years now. I thought calc could do the job until I tried clicking on image links in the generated pdfs. (Work fine in the .ods.) Unfortunately it looks like I'll have to abandon the idea of using calc and I'm stuck with Excel for the foreseeable future.

I've added an example as an attachment, but not being familiar with bugzilla it's ended up separate to this comment.
