Impress has "Custom Slide Show" toolbar icon (not enabled by default). Icon should be changed to dropdown icon, so that desired custom slide show can be run with one click, instead of 3 now: click to open Custom Slide Show dialog, click "Use Custom Slide Show", Start. Note: custom SS is not frequently used, and who uses it can also add icon to toolbar, so I don't think it should be visible by default in Standard toolbar. It's already in Tabbed toolbar.
I don't see Custom Slideshow (.uno:CustomShowDialog) in the standard toolbar. And it is not disabled but provides access to the dialog where you pick one of the predefined shows and use Start to run it. No objection to add a new UNO command that lists the options and runs directly. But as you said, it's a rarely used function and not really worth the effort, IMHO.
I'll take this as New and low enhancement.

(In reply to Xisco Faulí from comment #4) > What was decided in the meeting ? https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Meetings/2021-06-17 * Impress: change Custom Slide Show toolbar icon to dropdown + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142613 + add UNO command / widget that lists custom slideshows and run it on click => no objection, do it Actually no further input rather than broad acceptance.
