[Not sure which of the possible summary-keywords is the correct one] In the Animation-Tab of the sidebar, you can animate parts of your slide. Changing the Start-value in any way (for example from "With previous" to "On click") makes the Direction-Textbox flicker, as if it wasn't disabled for a short time. What I did before the bug happened: 1. Add animations (without delays) on other slides 2. Select 10+ arrows on this slide 3. Order them properly using drag&drop 4. Make all of them appear "after previous" 5. Try to change their delay-value. Also, it happens every time the user switches between the animation-elements.

Try to change their delay-value. Can you attach a simple example file, so it is quicker for us to test? Also, as Eleonora did not see the problem in 7.3, can you test with the latest version? Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
The bug persists with the following version of LibreOffice: Version: 7.3.3.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: d1d0ea68f081ee2800a922cac8f79445e4603348 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-AT (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-GB Flatpak Calc: threaded The bug occurs in any presentation. You can simply create a new, empty one and animate a few lines of text. That being said: 1. I have added screenshots of the different stages of the bug 2. I have attached the document that I used to take the screenshots.

(In reply to Clarc from comment #9) > Created attachment 180196 [details] > Sample Document I tested with the same version as you (except you use Flatpak), but the Direction field does not flicker for me when I change the start method or the delay value.
