Description:
UI: Merge cells should be disabled instead of merging outside the selection

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached file
2. Select the top left (yellow) cell and drag to the left (so middle is also selected0
3. Table -> Merge cells

Actual Results:
All cells at the left removed

Expected Results:
Word does disable merge cells in such an situation


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No

For those like me who dislike to open documents: Merging 1 and 4 ends up in one big cell with 1,4,2,3.

I fully agree with the request. If merging of cells is not possible for the current selection we should block the function rather than automatically extending the selection.
