Version: 7.0.5.2 Build ID: 64390860c6cd0aca4beafafcfd84613dd9dfb63a CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded This issue is confirmed for Linux Mint, but may be an issue with other Linux distros as well. Open a document and then the Find and replace dialogue (Ctrl H). Perform some tests to make sure that all the shortcuts in the dialogue work. EXPECTED RESULT: The letter corresponding to the shortcut for the command key should be underlined (X for "Find next"; R for "Replace" and so on). The corresponding shortcut should work. ACTUAL RESULT: No letters are underlined and none of the shortcuts are working. The non-functioning "Replace" shortcut has apparently been resolved (see Bug 123825). But the absence of shortcut underlining, which seems to be a Linux (not windows) issue, and the non-functioning "Find next" (not to mention other shortcut?) is still an issue.
I've just noticed that pressing Alt brings up the corresponding underlining, and by holding Alt and pressing the relevant letter the shortcut works. So looks OK?
I take the previous comment back. The absence of shortcut letter underlining in the menus and dialogs looks like a bug.
Note: the above version is an AppImage.
I've made a hash of this report.
… See Bug 142791 instead: Shortcut letters in menus / dialogs are not visible or active until Alt key is pressed (Linux).
