Description: Charts in Writer and Calc use color to identify items. When printed on a black & white printer or Xerox'd they become useless. Adding texture to the lines, bars, etc. would make them more readable. Steps to Reproduce: Create a chart. Xerox it in black & White See how unclear it actually is Actual Results: All the bars look similar in B&W Expected Results: See attached example of what I think a Chart should look like. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: See attached example of what I think a Chart should look like.

But you can use Bitmaps, Patterns and Hatches instead simple color filling. Possibly it's a good solution for you? You can find it in Area tab in Data series dialog (you should right-click on your series on the chart and select Format Data Series) Please try it and give us a feedback
