In LO Writer, I can select non-contiguous pieces of text. In Impress and in Draw - I cannot: If I click a text box and get a cursor, select some contiguous text, hold down the Ctrl key, then with my mouse try to select some more text - this fails. In Writer it succeeds.

I suppose I don't need to explain why being able to select non-contiguous text is important...

The bug is reproducible.

No change here - non-contiguous selection still not possible in Impres/Draw with:
