Note: DOC exports a frame, DOCX a shape.
NISZ surely has more wisdom about this compared to me
Created attachment 172860 [details] The original document and its docx version in Word The border width seems to be correctly exported as line width. Something else is off though, the caption is vertically slightly lower and the bottom border overlaps it. This does not seem to happen in Writer with the docx, only in Word.
Created attachment 172865 [details] Image width settings in Writer and Word The images width indeed changes: under Crop settings the horizontal and vertical scale was not the same originally, but became the same in docx. This is the same problem as bug #140355.
Let me mark this as a duplicate per last comment. Also why it changes from frame to shape: the Word-shape object has more options compared to the Word-frame object and this makes it a better candidate to map the Writer-frame object to.
