Description Eyal Rozenberg 2021-06-12 17:45:35 UTC
If you:

1. Have a list of many animation effects, more than fit in the visible part of the list.
2. Scroll up the list and select the first one.
3. Select an object on the slide.
4. Add an animation effect (let's say by pressing the green Plus sign)

what you see is a scroll-down/change of position, a new item on the list, selected - but immediately - a change of position back up, and the first effect is still selected. If you now scroll back down, the new effect is also selected.

So, two bugs here really:

1. Previously-selected effected not deselected by creating the new effect.
2. Position not kept at the bottom, where the new effect is visible.

I confirm the steps reported by Eyal, using LibreOffice Version: 7.2.5.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 20(Build:2)
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: x11
Locale: en-US (es_AR.UTF-8); UI: es-ES
Ubuntu package version: 1:7.2.5~rc2-0ubuntu0.18.04.1~lo1
Calc: threaded

Additional comment, I can reproduce it also with VCL KF5.

I cannot reproduce this bug using LibeOffice 6.1.6.3
Id. de compilación: 5896ab1714085361c45cf540f76f60673dd96a72
Subprocs. CPU: 4; SO: Linux 4.15; Repres. IU: predet.; VCL: kde4;
Configuración regional: en-US (es_AR.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

I'm attaching an example file. It has 9 diamonds, and the first 6 drawings has an animation each.
1) Select the first animation in the list
2) Select drawing 7, 8 or 9
3) Add it an animation by clicking button [+]

Result:
The same as described, but not only both elements in the animation list are selected (first and last), but also both drawings (1 and the selected now, drawing 7 in the screenshot I'm attaching).

Also, there seems to be a second bug (surely related), that is that the list should focus in actual animation, not reset the scrolling position.
