Description:
the floating pane gets stuck over file selection pop up

Steps to Reproduce:
1. tabbed UI must be present
2. tile LO to half/quarter of screen
3. go to review tab- click on double arrows to get extra options via floating pane- select compare option to open file selection pop up

Actual Results:
the floating pane gets stuck over file selection pop up

Expected Results:
floating pane should vanish


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No

Not reproduced on KDE + gtk3. Is this only reproduced with Xfce?

Linux Mint 19.3 shipped with Xfce 4.14. Since then, 4.16 and 4.18 were released.
