Description Jeff Martin 2021-06-20 12:29:54 UTC
Description:
To freeze a row or a column there is a context menu item. To freeze both one must click on a single cell, and then there is no context menu item to freeze rows and columns.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select a cell to the right and below the rows and columns to be frozen.
2. Right click for the context menu.
3. 'Freeze Rows and Columns' is not there.

Actual Results:
no menu item in the context menu

Expected Results:
a menu item for 'freeze rows and columns' should be in the context menu for a single cell like when I select only rows or only columns.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The workaround is to use the tools menu at the top, but it was very confusing, because the option is in the right click menu when I select only rows or only columns. I thought that maybe I had to do each individually, but that didn't work either.

Sorry. The option to 'freeze rows and columns' is in the view menu.

Indeed, but in LO 7.2, if you want, you can add it to the contextual menu of the cell.
Menu Tools > Customize > Context menus tab. Choose the target Cell.

Closing as WorksForMe.
