When I applied the 7.1.4.2 release my spreadsheets background and text colors reverted to automatic.  I didn't check any text documents before I changed the colors.

I changed the background colors and text so would have to change them back to show what happened, sorry.  I forgot ot mention that all my previously edited files disappear from the opening page, too.  I had to re-open the ones I wanted to edit again.

Implying either safe-mode or a complete user-profile reset (that would clear MRU, and any UI 'Application' color customizations.

Check to see any odities in %APPDATA\LibreOffice 
(C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Floating\LibreOffice)

Unfortunately without a verbose installation log of the MS Installer actions (in advance via command line update) nothing actionable here, and this is one off instance for now.

If there are no reproducible steps, no point in having bug open. 
I set Insufficient data so far. 
Should be relevant if there are more cases.
