Description hofmann-souki 2021-07-09 14:10:18 UTC
This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-3df400fd-78c7-4139-b43f-61d55173f7ad.
=========================================

I tried to exchange lines for columns in a table according to the description in the help: file:///C:/Program%20Files/LibreOffice/help/de/text/scalc/guide/table_rotate.html?DbPAR=CALC#bm_id3154346.
LibreOffice broke down. Programme could not be restarted in normal mode, only in safe mode. File could not be fixed at programme restart in safe mode.

I do not know whether this is a bug or not, and how to report it correctly. I do it because the programme asked me to when submitting the crash report and because I try to help in open source development.

Could you give a try to LO 7.0.6 or brand 7.1.4?
Comment 2 Julien Nabet 2021-07-09 20:21:32 UTC
Please respond on bugtracker instead of sending an email in private.

Have in mind that an old version won't be fixed, eg there won't be a 7.0.4.3 version.
If you reproduce this on 7.0.6, you'll have to try 7.1.4 since there won't be 7.0.7 according to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan/7.0.

If you reproduce this on 7.1.4, it could be fixed for 7.1.5 or 7.1.6.

Hello,
According to https://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/signature/ScColumn::SetPattern(long,ScPatternAttr%20const%20&), the issue is not reproducible in 7.2.1.2.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
