Description Aki 2021-07-17 04:33:38 UTC
Description:
My mother uses LibreOffice Impress to share slides about school topics in her daily classes. Before the screen share with teams was working perfectly even in slideshow mode. But in the past two updates the screen share has not been possible when the slideshow mode is enabled, it default shows only the first slide to the students and not the other slides even when we change slides on our end. This is becoming a hindrance to her daily use of the application. hope you guys can find out what exactly is wrong.
And thank you.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open LibreOffice Impress with some content, open teams.
2.Use the screen sharing option of teams, share the app.
3.click on slide show as the screen is shared.
The red borderline of teams, that usually denote the screen being shared disappears.
Students on the other side can only see the first slide, regardless of changing the slides

Actual Results:
1. The red borderline of teams, that usually denote the screen being shared disappears.
2. Students on the other side can only see the first slide, regardless of changing the slides on my end.

Expected Results:
It should be a seamless switch and the slideshow should be shared when you change to slideshow mode, like how it used to in the older versions.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The only way to rectify this that we have found out is to start the slideshow first then Alt+Tab our way to the teams program then selecting the share content option on Microsoft teams. we get two sharing options for the same LibreOffice Impress application they are
1. the first one is the usual LibreOffice Impress application with any specific file name.
2. the other is another libreOffice Impress option of the same file but with a "presenting _file_name-" as its title.

so we select the second option directly to share the screen to the slideshow and it works like that.

Thank you for the report, Aki.

Can you please:
- test again with the updated versions of LO (preferably 7.5) and Teams
- let us know if the issue remains
- if it does, please paste here the information copied from Help > About LibreOffice, and let us also know if you use Teams in browser (along with which browser you use) or with the desktop app.

Much appreciated.
