I gave a try with https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/119232 It builds locally on Linux (I haven't done a "make check" though) and of course, it must build on Mac and Windows.
Julien Nabet committed a patch related to this issue. I suppose an upgrade of a lib is just for master sources unless it fixes a known bug so let's put this one to FIXED.
