Description Crusader 2021-07-25 19:27:42 UTC
Description:
Last week, I upgraded from LibreOffice 7.1.4 to 7.1.5. I was shocked to see the spreadsheet I need daily displaying serious errors. I took all standard steps (uninstall, reinstall, shutdown, restart, check other spreadsheets, etc.) to no avail. The display continues to be erroneous - and many times different (the LO logo doesn't display each time, but the grayed/blacked out area does - for the most part).

I uninstalled version 7.1.5 and reinstalled version 7.1.4, but that did not change the outcome - even though version 7.1.4 ran perfectly fine before I upgraded to version 7.1.5. In the hope of resolving the "instability" of the newer versions, I uninstalled all of them, and installed LO 7.0.6 ("stable version"); however, I continued to get the fancy errors.

As a desperate measure, I installed the latest Portable version of LO (7.1.4) - and got the relief I was looking for: the same spreadsheet which was giving me a fancy erroneous display opened "normally" with Portable version 7.1.4!

Steps to Reproduce:
1. You will need my spreadsheet to reproduce the error.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Open the spreadsheet.

Expected Results:
Erroneous dispaly.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Have you tried cleaning your user profile?

I am requesting to withdraw/cancel this "bug" report. It turns out, the problem I was encountering was a result of corrupt LO User Profile in Windows 10. Once I reset my LO User Profile, the weird images I was getting disappeared.

Sorry for the trouble - and thank you for the great service you are performing.
