See image attached. This rarely happens and as soon as I change the font size, the display error is gone.

The stroke is in different places, possibly also in the area where there is no text and therefore not visible.

Sorry, but an image doesn't serve to test.
A writer file with the issue, is the only way to verify the issue.

Please attach a document that exhibits the error--we need details about the font in use and the paragraph and character formatting being applied. We can not determine that from the screen clips you've attached.

Better is if you save and attach the reporducing ODF document as a "Flat XML ODF Text Document" after checking it does reproduce the issue.

And, does the issue continue if you disable Skia Vulkan rendering from Tools -> Options -> View  and mark the 'Force Skia software rendering' checkbox settings and then restarting LibreOffice?
