side-by-side comparison of the final shadow and the illustrated shadow

When trying to add shadow, the illustration on the right-side of the Graphics Styles window does not match the new shadow style (check the attached screenshot)

To be more specific, among all the settings, blur is the metric that is wrongly illustrated in the example.

Steps to reproduce:

1. paste a picture in a slide
2. right-click > Edit style
3. navigate to "Shadowing" tab
4. change the blur to some large positive value (e.g 57)
5. observe that the illustration on the right-hand side does not respond to the changing value of blur
6. click OK
7. observe that the real shadow has the correct blur but the real shadow does not look anything like the shadow you saw in the illustration.

[new] side-by-side comparison of the final shadow and the illustrated shadow

Interestingly enough Dolphin (KDE's file manager) and Nomacs (an image viewer) both could show the previous one without any issue. To prevent any further issues I opened the image and took a screenshot from it and is now attached.
