Description:
Unable to open dBase .dbf files and the file is not corrupted. My solution was to install the latest version 6(6.4.7.2) package .deb, in this respect I was successful in opening the file.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Double click in file .dbf
2.Or Menu File open select file and click button open
3.

Actual Results:
input/output error

Expected Results:
Open file with columns and lines data


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No

I am used new Debian 11 Bullseyes LibreOffice 7.0.4.4

Could you provide the dbf file?
Before doing it, have in mind that attachments are automatically made public so sanitize it (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bugzilla/Sanitizing_Files_Before_Submission)

Sorry I can not send to you.
Now and new test I am removed libreoffice used:

sudo apt remove --purge libreoffice*
sudo apt clean
sudo apt auto-remove

After sudo apt install libreoffice. My result was success to open dBase .dbf.

Then problem occurred libreoffice after install Debian 11 (https://www.debian.org/CD/http-ftp/#firmware)

I would suggest this test and then try to open any dbase created.
