Description: I have a presentation made in Impress, but when I send it to the client and he opens it in Office it looks bad, I did the test using Office 2010 (Power Point) and in fact, the text inside the PowerPoint text boxes does not respect line breaks, the text is completely outside the defined area. Actual Results: Apparently Impress renders the document fine, but in Office it looks bad. Expected Results: That the final document was displayed correctly in Impress and Office. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.0.6.2 (x86) Build ID: 144abb84a525d8e30c9dbbefa69cbbf2d8d4ae3b CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: es-MX (es_MX); Interfaz: es-ES Calc: threaded
Created attachment 174501 [details] ppt test file This is the presentation file, if you open it with Impress it works perfectly, but if you open it in Office 2010 (I have not tried with other versions) on slide 3 you will see that the text goes outside the defined area.
Created attachment 174502 [details] Good text Screenshot to show how the text work fine on Impress
Created attachment 174503 [details] Bad text on Office 2010 Screenshot to display how the text is incorrect on Office 2010.
I do see the issue when opening the file in Powerpoint and being fine with LibreOffice. However I'm struggling to reproduce it from scratch.
Thanks you, greetings.

I have noticed something, in Impress I generated this presentation and saved it on ppt, in Impress it's displayed correctly, but when I open it on Office 2010 it looks bad, but if I save it (from ppt to Impres) on pptx or odp and open it on Impress opens perfectly, that pptx in Office 2010 is displayed correctly too. So the problem seems to be when Impress saves on ppt, maybe it includes something that causes Office don't recognize it and therefore the presentation looks bad, a situation that don't occur when saving in pptx.
Confirm with Version: 7.5.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: cfc8a8f5d841b3f84d207196153be67da7f60652 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: cs-CZ (cs_CZ.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded and Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: efca6f15609322f62a35619619a6d5fe5c9bd5a) and powerpoint 2003. Hi to everyone: I currently have LibreOffice 24 installed on Windows 11, I attach the details: Version: 24.2.5.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: bffef4ea93e59bebbeaf7f431bb02b1a39ee8a59 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22631; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL:win Locale: es-MX (es_MX); UI: es-ES Calc: threaded Unfortunately the problem persists, as I mentioned before, if this ppt file generated a long time ago in LibreOffice (Impress) is opened with any version of LibreOffice (even this updated one) the presentation looks fine, but we open it in Office (2016 I have to test ) looks bad, the text does not respect the width of the container, if I save this ppt with the current version of LibreOffice everything remains the same. But not so if it is saved as pptx, both in LibreOffice and Office it is displayed correctly. I think the problem is some component of LibreOffice that when saving the document as ppt does not generate the text in the correct format for Office to recognize it. Greetings.
