Mark as a duplicate of bug 146221. I had a discussion with "dongshili", and we both get empty import result on Windows when using the Data > XML Source function. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 146221 ***
IMO, while this had been forced to discuss the import using Data->XML Source (since comment 2), the original request was to allow dragging XML files onto the sheet, which was different.

(In reply to dongshili from comment #5) > I have uploaded the sample document at 2021-10-15 01:36:40 UTC, in comment 3 FTR: The request was to attach a sample *document*, i.e. some XML (which was what you were talking about), which could be used by others to try to imporl locally and reproduce the problem; not images showing what happens on your system. So no, you didn't upload any sample documents yet.
(In reply to dongshili from comment #1) > Created attachment 174544 [details] This attachment additionally shows that your XML has an encoding different from UTF-8; and that could make a difference here.
