Description: When installing LibreOffice, I check "Load LibreOffice during system startup", but the component that provides fast document opening is not loaded after system restart. Going into Toos - Options menu - autoload flag is not set. This bug appeared a long time ago, many versions ago. I am running the installation as administrator on many different computers. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install LibreOffice with "Load LibreOffice during system startup" flag is ON. 2. Reboot PC, or logout, login into OS under the same user account. Actual Results: In the system tray there is no LibreOffice icon. There is a long full LibreOffice load when opening documents. Expected Results: LibreOffice icon must be present, documents must open quickly. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: -
Why is no one responding to this bug report? Just installed 7.2.1 over 7.1.5 with Libre Office autorun flag set on several computers - and it's the same again! After rebooting the computers autorun appeared to be disabled!
Hello UX TEAM, Nowadays, does it still make sense to have such an option ?
Not a new issue. Besides being a duplicate (and handled on the respective ticket), the quick starter is a pointless and harmful feature dating back to the 90th where startup was slow and safety less relevant. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 88212 ***
