Description NISZ LibreOffice Team 2021-09-01 13:25:47 UTC
Created attachment 174700 [details]
attachment 172608 [details] with the B&N dialog opened for a first level item in list

The attachment 172608 [details] contains a master slide with five levels of colored bullets.
When opened in Impress these look fine at first in the editor, but during editing the bullets and numbering settings only the levels below the current one are present in the dialog.

Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open attachment 172608 [details]
    2. Go to the Master slide view, select the second master slide
    3. In the bulleted list select “Click to edit Master text styles” and open the Format – Bullets and Numbering dialog
    4. In the Color field you can see the dark red color for the first level
    5. Select another level of 2-5 on the left, the Color field shows Automatic
    6. Close the dialog, select the “Fifth level” and open the Format – Bullets and Numbering dialog
    7. In the Color field you can see the dark red color for the first level
    8. Select another level of 2-5 on the left, the Color field shows the correct bullet colors

Actual results:
As above, the Bullets and Numbering dialog does not display correct colors for levels above the current paragraphs level.

Expected results:
The Bullets and Numbering dialog should display all indentation levels formatting for any level of paragraph.

Reproduced in

Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 6df639114da3fa98bd2fd749eca40d3c2190c018
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

I think this is a UI problem.
If you put the cursor in 'Fifth level' and then Format - Bullet and Numbering, then the behaviour is correct

Dear NISZ LibreOffice Team,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword
