Description: Hi there. Unable to save documents if I import from a CSV file and create a second document as a normal spreadsheet. I am unable to save the spreadsheet I've created. Actual Results: 1. Open any CSV file. 2. Create a new spreadsheet. 3. Enter data into the new spreadsheet. 4. Attempt to save the new spreadsheet. It fails. Expected Results: Nothing. It simply will not save the document. Can't print, export, nothing. Just sits there. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Saved the new spreadsheet.
Please clarify: 2. Create a new separate spreadsheet or add sheet in that CSV? 4. Attempt to save the new spreadsheet. Save in which format? It fails show? You cannot save 2nd sheet in CSV. When you say "any CSV", did you try with multiple? User Profile Reset: please try to rename or delete user profile.
2. The CSV file is open for viewing only. There is no editing on that sheet. If I open a new spreadsheet that's when the fun begins. 4. I can input information into the new spreadsheet however I cannot save, save as, export or print the page. The only option I have is to quit the application and thus, lose my work. I was initially using a V6.something version and I upgraded to V7.2 to see if that resolved the issue. It did not. Hope this helps. Cheers Pete
My apologies. I mis-spoke! I will try another CSV and see if the problem is exhibited when I use that sheet. Will advise shortly.
I really hate to say this but I'm having some really weird stuff going on at the moment. I have restarted the computer several times and done all the "usual" my crap is misbehaving. Now I am unable to type data into a cell on a new spreadsheet. Sorry but I must get some other stuff done immediately. Will try later today and update.sorry.
(In reply to Timur from comment #1) > User Profile Reset: please try to rename or delete user profile. That's step no 1.
