Description: Yesterday, I downloaded LibreOffice v7.1.6 from the website. Today, I upgraded from a fully functional LibreOffice v.7.1.5 installation to v.7.1.6 - and, ability to open files was lost, except when operating in "Safe Mode". In normal mode, the HD activity light flickers for a short while, then goes dark. No error messages. No activity on screen. Both writer documents & spreadsheets are affected. They only open via "safe mode". Entering safe mode, I tried "repair, & it didn't work. I uninstalled, then reinstalled - problem persisted. My laptop is a Dell Latitude E6400 w/ 4GB RAM & 160GB HD. It's running Windows v10 Pro, w/ 64-bit processor. My files are being kept on an external hard drive, with partitions encrypted using TrueCrypt, and currently accessed via VeraCrypt. Note, that I tried every combination of options from the "safe mode" screen, and nothing worked except operating in safe mode. I should add that after repeatedly failing with LibreOffice v7.1.6, I downloaded & installed v7.2.1 - and, IT WORKED. It seems to be functioning normally in all respects, opening, editing, & saving files. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install LibreOffice v7.1.6. 2.Try to open a file without using "Safe Mode". 3. Actual Results: The hard drive activity light flickered for a while, then went dark. No visible activity on display screen. Expected Results: It should have open the files for editing. The report misses the info from "About >> LibreOffice", but it's very like a duplicate, also given the AMD HW. Solution: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Graphics-related_issues_.28Skia.29 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 144598 ***
