Are you opening the document in read-mode only ? Then it's a duplicate of bug 144650
Comment 2 Alessandro 2021-10-06 08:17:44 UTC
No, I open the document to edit it.
I click on the file name, LibreOffice starts up, LibreOfficeWrite starts up, and the file is opened.
I scroll the file with arrow down key, or moving scroll bar and all work correctly, but after a few seconds LibreOfficeWrite crashes, and leaves the file locked (.~lock.CD_10_ita_00.odt#).
When I try to open another time, LibreOfficeWrite asks me to recover the file.
The file is recovered right.
My document has 31 page.

I started LibreOffice in safe mode, repeated the steps and it works fine!
Now, I don't understand how to delete my profile and how to create a new profile.
Could you help me?
Comment 10 Alessandro 2021-10-12 06:19:46 UTC
I have reset the profile to factory values, but problem is not fix.
In safe-mode the problem there isn't: in safe-mode works fine.

Alessandro, in bug 149527 it was determined that crash happens with Skia only and not in safe mode.
Can you please confirm that there is no crash if Skia is turned off in Options-View, so that we mark this a duplicate?
I also don't reproduce, so if you don't respond, we can only close.
Comment 15 Timur 2022-09-08 09:44:02 UTC
In bug 149527 Alessandro wrote:
Now I have updated LibreOffice with the latest versions [7.2.6.2 (x64], and the problem is gone.

Still it's not clear if this was about Skia.
But let me close as a duplicate.

Note that in 7.2 Still branch, it's 7.2.7.2 that's the last.
7.3 is rather stable 7.3.5 but it will have 7.3.6 in few days and 7.3.7 as a last.

Considering that the issue:
- was reported for 7.1.6.2, and
- is fixed in 7.2.6.2 according to OP

...I am keeping it separate from the other scroll crashes and marking it as a standalone "works for me", with bug 149527 as a See Also.
