Description: Work on an impress document. Doing more changes. I save the document and immediately thereafter making a save us with a new name of the document. Close them. At opening both last saved versions lost the last changes I made in the document. It seems the save was not effective and only a few (more) minutes earlier versions were saved. It did happen in the last 3 days already 3 times. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Make more/many changes in impress copy or write texts in texbtoxes 2.save it 3.make thereafter a save as with a new name 4. both last doc lose last changes has been made. Actual Results: Nothing. It seems both the save and also the save as action was made without any error or difficulty. There is no special sign that failure happened. Reopen any of the last 2 versions and some changes are there and some are disappeared. Expected Results: Keep all changes I made before the saving. As it is the normal expectation and it works many times. LibreOffice 6.0.7 is a very old version, not maintained anymore. Please could you try LO 7.1 or 7.2 ? Status has been set to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once requested information has been provided. Best regards. JBF
Thanks for the answer. In the meantime I investigated better the situation. It happens "only" if the focus/cursor stay in a textbox where the last changes was made. In this case the save does not saving the changes of that textbox. If I click after the change to another place/object in the document in this case the save will be correct. I will try a newer version but for Ubuntu 18.04 the maintained version in repositories is 6.0.7

I tested based on comment 2 and NO REPRO on my Ubuntu 22.04 Version: 7.4.0.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 1512ce97d7ed39dce3121f7e15651fd8895f950e CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: ro-RO (ro_RO.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
I mark it as unconfirmed, but nobody else tried it on the same version of Ubuntu with the same version of LO. By the way, on the newer Ubuntu and LO it works without this bug.
Based on your last comment and the fact that noone will install an unsupported version I will close the bug as Worksforme. Please be free to reopen as unconfirmed if you want.
