Description: PDF generated by LO Writer prints buggily. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Retrieve the LO Writer file: https://f002.backblazeb2.com/file/PublicSharedFiles/MullingSpices.odt. 2. Generate PDF (default settings) from it: https://f002.backblazeb2.com/file/PublicSharedFiles/MullingSpices.pdf. 3. Compare them. They look identical. 4. But now, PRINT hardcopies of those 2 docs. 5. The Writer printed copy looks OK. 6. But the PDF printed copy (using Okular) is buggy: the "F" char at the beginning of the final 2 paragraphs (both columns) is wonky. Actual Results: See above. Expected Results: See above. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.1.6.2.0+ Environment: CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.14 User Interface: default; VCL; kf5 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Misc: Calc: threaded NOTE: I've seen similar bugginess before, but only in very large docs (so I didn't report it), but this time I've got a minimal example.

Is this specifically happening using Okular or with any PDF viewer?. You might open the PDF with say Firefox and print.. is the F still broken? I don't see anything here, but well I'm on Windows. Version: 7.3.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 93115d2c54d645bcf2f80fde325e3ede39dee4d5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (nl_NL); UI: en-US Calc: CL
I don't see why this would be LO bug. Advice was given to try also other programs that open PDF.
I've now tried several PDF readers, and it's a mixed bag. Okular and Evince show the problem. LO Draw, Foxit Reader, PDF Studio, Gimp do not. I don't know what technologies all these use (e.g., I used 300 dpi to import Gimp bitmap). I'll attach a pic (PdfPrintBug.jpg, all printed on HP CP2025dn, with original firmware, an ancient machine but still works for me).
