Description Telesto 2021-10-10 09:18:28 UTC
Description:
UI: Add icons to the effect list

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Impress
2. Select a textbox
3. Sidebar -> Animations
4. press +
5. Notice list of effects with icons

Actual Results:
No icons

Expected Results:
Maybe icons; yes, not a lot of room :-(. However those can be kind of illustrative of the effect in question; make the dialog bit more playful; can help orientating within the list

But well I do expect lots of creativity from artwork team :-).

Reproducible: Always

I mean, there is not much space and even when we make every entry 32px high it's still a challenge. And isn't the "Automatic Preview" supposed to show the effect?

The topic was on the agenda of the design meeting but hasn't received further input. Let's resolve WF since the list has no room for icons that clearly depict the animation. And we do have the preview...
