Description: Using the mouse to "draw" just the selection box in Draw is very laggy. No combination of hardware acceleration on/off, OpenCL, Skia, etc seems to improve it. Steps to Reproduce: Open new empty drawing. Create selection rectangle with mouse. Actual Results: The selection blue/dashed selection box updates very laggy when moving it with the mouse button down. Expected Results: It should be super smooth and no lagging. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 7.1.6.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 0e133318fcee89abacd6a7d077e292f1145735c3 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: default; VCL: win Locale: sv-SE (sv_SE); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
1. Start LibreOffice 2 select Help ▸ Restart in Safe Mode 3. In the Enter Safe Mode dialog select Restart. LibreOffice will restart and display the Safe Mode dialog 4. Select Continue in Safe Mode 5. Test and see if the problem is gone. If the problem persists, you can exit the safe mode because the user profile was not the cause of the problem. If the problem is solved, something is wrong with your configuration. Start LibreOffice in safe mode again to see the safe mode dialog. You can now try to disable Hardware acceleration or to restore/reset your user profile.
Yes I have tried safe mode, it does not help. The laggy selection rectangle has been like that since version 6.1 or something.
It's super smooth for me Version: 7.5.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 4d9b83a417bbde8148b67d2ab0abe9f4ae285276 CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: default; VCL: win Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Jumbo

This issue is also happening to me. I don't have hardware acceleration as an option on my computer because of the hardware installed on my computer. Safe mode fixes this issue so I've reset the user settings which did not fix this issue. The case of the original reporter is different as Safe Mode did not have any effect and neither did Skia.
