Description Luca Bottazzi 2021-10-13 17:41:40 UTC
already from version 6 (or maybe earlier)
PARAGRAPH TEXT IS OFTEN FORMATTED AS INLINE CSS
so if I copy and paste from one block of text to another it keeps the previous inline formatting! (for example I am left with a text of a different size, with a different color from the rest of the paragraph). So I have to cut that text and then paste "unformatted text" to have the text all the same in the paragraph.
The problem is particularly evident when I export to HTML: it inserts in the text "<span style =" where the text should depend only on the class of P (and I have to clean up everything by hand).
Had you decided to use inline formatting for paragraph text blocks as well? It's terrible.
THIS HAPPENS WHEN I ADD TEXT TO A PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN PARAGRAPH

Thank you for reporting the bug.

You've assigned the bug to yourself. This means, that you want to fix it by yourself. Is this what you want to do?

I also treid to reproduce it, but I couldn't find see any problem. Perhaps I haven't grasp it. Could you pleae provide some step like:
1. Open attachment 176021 [details]
2. Copy paragraph in box (paragraph style heading 4)
3. Insert it in the following paragraph (text body) => abbia is still formatted (expected, because it is direct formatting, that overrides paragraph style)
