Description mark simmons 2021-10-18 14:47:44 UTC
Created attachment 175818 [details]
example doc in which to paste a table from another doc

1. I have a document with some paragraphs numbered using the auto incrementing.
2. I create a new blank document and create an empty table.
3. I select the table and copy it to the clipboard.
4. I paste this table into the original document between any of the numbered paragraphs. It resets the numbering sequence which now starts again after the table at the number 1.

If I simply insert a new table from within the original numbered para doc then the numbering sequence is not changed. This is the expected behaviour.

I've attached an example (paranumberingtest.odt) in which to paste an empty table.

just installed a newer version, libreoffice 7.2.2.2, via snap and cannot now reproduce this problem so changing to resolved.
