I have documents stored as a .docx documents, they were created by Libre Office.

The documents have a table of 3 colums by 4 rows, this is the template for a sheet of labels. This is used to print out sheets of postage labels.

In many fields in the table there is a link to an image which fills that field, by changing the images and opening the document I can generate a new sheet of address labels.

This works fine in Libre Office Writer in release 7.0.6 in release 7.1.6 opening the same document the contents of tables are displaying corrupted, the images are not in the right fields, they are stacked up in one or two fields or in completely the wrong field.

I removed Libre Office 7.1.6 and reinstalled 7.0.6 and this works fine again. I would rather not have to recreate the documents for 7.1.6 as there are 120 documents with up to 10 image links in each one.

I updated from Libre Office 7.0.6 to 7.2.2.2 and tried this again, I am still seeing the issue in some of the documents. As some display fine and others still display corrupted I decided to fix the broken documents, if I delete the images and reinsert them as links again then they seem to work and save and reload working correctly.

I don't know what the difference is between the none working and the working documents they are all simply a table of 12 images arranged 3 columns 4 rows on an A4 portrait layout page, and in each box is an image inserted as a link to the image, so that by changing the images and loading the document I get a new page of labels to print. I am using this to generate postage labels.

I am sorry I don't have any more information on this, I have worked around whatever is happening my deleting all the images in the broken documents and reinserting the image links. All the documents did work in Libre Office 7.0.6 though.

The document and images need to be in the directory

D:\Projects\ebay\labelgen-10-labels

So that the links to images work, I wanted to make the links relative but have not been able to find out how to do that.

I confirm that the document you linked shows the problem (after I manually update the link for each image), but it also shows the problem with 7.0. If you are no longer able to reproduce the problem from scratch, I don't think it makes sense to keep this open.
