If this is exclusively in the Flatpak version, you should report it to https://github.com/flathub/org.libreoffice.LibreOffice/issues

Do you see it in other versions?
Comment 2 pavelz 2021-10-21 07:06:15 UTC
I have just tried also AppImage (Fresh, Full) and the result is the same, so I am not sure if it is exclusive to Flatpak.

The initial setting of a color filter works fine for me in Arch Linux packaged:

Version: 7.2.2.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 20(Build:2)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.14; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI: fi-FI
7.2.2-1
Calc: threaded

However, there is this known issue: bug 144320

Maybe it is somehow related to the aforementioned bug 144320, but there is no freeze in my case, see attachment.

I found an earlier report for the freeze, let's close as duplicate of it and after it is fixed, you can test again.
