Description: Google Sheets supports CONCAT when uploaded. However, when downloaded the CONCAT function does not work. I noticed that the downloaded XLSX file has lower case concat versus being capitalized. This breaks the function since LibreCalc only seems to recognize the capitalized function (only CONCAT, not concat). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upload XLSX file created in LibreCalc 2. Save as Google Sheets. Concat function maintained. 3. Download as XLSX format. Lower case concat in all cells so function lost. Get Name? error Actual Results: NAME? error in all cells with concat function. LibreCalc seems to only recognize capitalized CONCAT which seems odd. Expected Results: LibreCalc should recognize both =CONCAT( and =concat( as the same function Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: SpreadsheetDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: no
This is not our bug. Here is a sample Google Sheets document with a single CONCAT formula =concat(1;2): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1h_Tdy9M1ElU2gJSuO8NbXQixbHN7VtIj2Bi2C0Mhd28/edit?usp=sharing Downloading is as an XLSX generates a document that MS Excel does not open properly: it gives a #NAME? error.
