Description: I am using a default install of LibreOffice with no Themes applied. When using the Styles Deck the '+' sign (which is really a button) is not displayed in a contrasting colour when any particular style with a + sign applied to it is clicked on to highlight it. The screenshot I have given here shows the problem clearly (I hope). I would also note the same issue applies to the '-' minus sign (which is really a button) it too is not visible if any given style is clicked on which has the minus sign applied to it. The same issue arises in the Character Styles (pane). ==================== Version: 7.1.6.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 0e133318fcee89abacd6a7d077e292f1145735c3 CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: default; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: CL Steps to Reproduce: Just click around in the Styles Deck an you can readily see the problem Actual Results: As indicated above. Expected Results: I would expect the + signs, and the - signs to be clearly visible when I highlight a style that has the + or the - sign applied to it. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Really the + and - signs need a contrasting colour applied to them when a style is highlighted. If it was me I would just use the contrasting colour that is applied to the style name.

I can't confirm it with Version: 7.3.0.0.alpha1+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 742b8befecbcfc0cfab87cfcd87c83b7d8ef32ab CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB Calc: CL and also not with Version: 7.2.3.1 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 1d5dee817bde88d78dbcc0d00f88492568e131d5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE Calc: CL Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
Version: 7.2.2.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 02b2acce88a210515b4a5bb2e46cbfb63fe97d56 CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: CL The bug still persists with above (latest 'fresh') version of LibreOffice. After some messing about on my own system I managed to hone this down a bit: My operating system is Windows 7 Pro. SP1 x64. On that system I use the 'Windows Classic' (desktop/windows) Theme. I just tried temporarily changing the theme to 'Windows 7 Basic' and the problem disappears -- and, in fact, for the first time I see the Styles Deck as it is meant to be. So the bug is 'related' to the Windows theme the user is using.
Thnak you for further details. Tested with different themes in Windows 10 and couldn't reproduce. I hope, that somebody else with Windows 7 can help.
Radish, can you still reproduce the problem with actual version LO 7.6? => NEEDINFO
Deiter, I can't reproduce any more as I have moved from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Just now I did test in Windows 10 with LibreOffice Portable from PortableApps. (I don't install the 'Fresh' version to my system, prefer to use the 'Still' version.) Version: 7.6.2.1 (x86) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 56f7684011345957bbf33a7ee678afaf4d2ba333 CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded and there is no problem with LibreOffice there at all.
(In reply to Radish from comment #6) > I can't reproduce any more as I have moved from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Since we have no information, if it is still present in Windows 7 and perhaps we won't get that information, let's close it.
