Description RG 2021-10-31 13:03:55 UTC
Description:
Interactions with a mouse cause menus to black-out the second time going into them, also there are missing tools on the window interface in all applications.

Example: I open Writer, go to pull down men 'File' choose a task, pull-down menu closes, when opening it again it is all blacked-out but for the icons, when I run the mouse over them they appear then vanish again. This occurs with all pull-down menus.

Additionally, when running mouse over other icons on the interface it makes them appear when before they weren't there. Comparing 7.2 window with the previous versions there are elements missing, or glitching, such as rulers. These glitches appear in all applications.

This makes it impossible to use, I have gone back to the previous version and all works fine and as normal with that. This glitch/ issues does not happen with any other software or suite on my computer.

I've uninstalled 7.2.2 completely (see steps below) and reinstalled the previous version which works with no issues.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Tried 'repair', made no difference. Did this twice.
2.Tried 'Reinstall, made no difference. Did this twice.
3.Uninstalled and installed this version anew, made no difference. Did this twice.
4.Tried reboots of computer each time, made no difference.
5.Uninstalled 7.2.2 completely and reinstalled previous version 7.1.6 which works fine and as before with no issues.

Actual Results:
None of my attempts to fix this issues worked aside from reinstalling the previous version. Each attempts resulted in the same result as described.

Expected Results:
I uninstalled it completely and reinstalled the previous version of Libreoffice.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Worked as previous versions had as I have never had this issue before with Libreoffice, in fact I've never had an issue with it before.

I have tried to take a screenshot of the issue but because of the nature of it whenever I tried with my computer the menus I need to include from Libreofice, as in the ones blacked-out, closed so was unable to show what appears to be an issue with interacting with menus and icons. I realise how tricky this is to convey accurately, especially if you haven't actually seen the issue in action.

@reporter
I'm pretty sure that it's something with your individual PC system.
I can't understand your problem to create a screenshot?! Simply press <Print> key to get a screenshot into clipboard should not close a menu.

Please
a) Do a test in safe mode: Menu ˋHelp → Restart in Safe Modeˊ.
   Does the problem persist?
b) if problem persists, pleas ˋcolse LibO → rename user profile in
   C:\Users\Raine\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice → relaunch LibOˊ
   Does problem persist?
After Test you can delete newly created User Profile and undo rename of
   your normal User Profile.
