Description peter josvai 2021-11-01 08:00:48 UTC
Description:
each time I update the template, the content in page headers gets erased...

I allow different first page and different right and left pages

in the firs page's header I place no content
in the left's I place fix text
in the right, I place a field (chapter name)

whatever the case, they shouldn't be erased in my opinion :)
like page content doesn't get erased either :)

I might be making some mistake, though...

Steps to Reproduce:
1. place content in your headers in a 3 page document, save it, close it
2. open the template and edit any part of it, and save it
3. reopen your document, say yes to "update styles"...

Actual Results:
header content disappears

Expected Results:
should stay there, either being affected by the changes (if header style has been modified), or not..

Reproducible: Always

additional info:

oh, the don't simply get erased!
(sorry, I haven't noticed this!)

the first page will have the field (chapter name) which I placed in the right page's header previously...

the headers of the the right pages and the left pages will be erased...

....
additional info:
the field in the right pages I insert in the document, not the header,
and the same goes for the text in the left pages' header (inserted in the document, not the template)

....
the styles update fine, though..
in the headers, too...

Peter, thank you for reporting the bug. Would be helpful, if you could attach the template. Thank you.
