Hi,

I have assigned links to individual images and then grouped the images - see attachment. Now I can't find a way to edit these pictures, e.g. to change the link or to ungroup them. Whether I click with the right or left mouse button, I jump to the link.

What can I do to ungroup the images and edit the links?

My working environment:

I just saw that on Windows, with Libre Office version 7.1.4.2, I can right-click to ungroup and edit individual images.

I don't see a problem. This shouldn't be OS specific, so same is for Linux.
Right click on group gives Ungroup and Enter Group. 
With both, you can use right-click Interaction.
So either your reported a NotABug or you didn't describe it properly.
