Description Richard 2021-11-13 13:46:16 UTC
Description:
Spell checker does not check spelling even though spell automatic spell checking is enabled.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.type and word that had been misspelt (for example "Gjhdsaddsafdsajflkjafdjlkfja;lfjalkjporugrnadnkvfdabvhob")
2. Press space type a new word, keep writing to give the spell checker a chance.
3. Start a new paragraph
4. Still no spell checking
5. Click tools>spell checking

Actual Results:
Spell check does not underline the misspelt word
Entering tools>spell checking gives a heading in the spell checker box "Spelling:[None]"
Clicking on Text languages gives "none"
Clicking on Options I can see that there are plenty of dictionaries listed.

Expected Results:
A red line underneath misspelt words such as "Gjhdsaddsafdsajflkjafdjlkfja;lfjalkjporugrnadnkvfdabvhob"

Reproducible: Sometimes

1. Make sure, that Automatic Spell checking is active (Tools -> Automatic Spellchicking)
2. Make sure, that a language is seected for you text. You can see text language in the sidebar.
