Description a.geno 2021-11-16 18:33:55 UTC
Description:
I have changed my global GNOME theme from Adwaita Dark to Adwaita and when now when I open Libreoffice I have the icons invisible: https://imgur.com/a/Rs06jl7

If I go to Menu->Tools->Options->Libreoffice->View I see that the icon style is set to Automatic (Breeze Dark) (https://imgur.com/a/y98z1uz)... but apparently this automatic detection is wrong, since like you have seen, the icons are invisible. In fact if I manutally set to just "Breeze", the icons are visible again. I am using ArchLinux.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Adwaita (not dark) theme in GNOME
2. Open Libreoffice

Actual Results:
Icons are invisible

Expected Results:
Libreoffice should automatically set a correct theme to make icons visible

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

There have been many Linux dark theme improvements lately. You could check with an unstable build how it works now: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Linux#Automated_installation

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
