Screen shot of error thrown when opening password-protected Calc document from Spotlight

[Actually tested on 7.1.7.2 but that release is not an option in drop-down bugzilla box]

Situation:
- OS X 10.13.x Intel
- Latest version of "Google Drive for Desktop" 52.0.6.0
- LibreOffice Calc documents held in "mirror" (not "stream") googledrive directory
- Calc doc is password protected with normal LO password scheme

Issue/bug:
- If opened directly from Finder (doubleclick), document opens properly (i.e., user gets the expected behavior, which is to receive the document password dialog box)

- However, if attempt is made to open same document via Spotlight search (Spotlight's cloverleaf + shift search window), Calc reports "Read error", complains about encryption method, and refuses to open the document. See attached screen shot

- Interestingly, LO Writer documents work fine - it's only Calc reporting this error

- Problem began with install of new Google Drive For Desktop app for mirroring (previous use of similar Google Backup and Sync (now discontinued) to accomplish the same mirroring had no problems)

- Google (not surprisingly) disclaims any knowledge or responsibility

More info:

- So far, can only reproduce bug with password-protected files that were saved with LO Calc *before* current LO version and/or before Google Drive upgrade. Newly-created password-protected documents appear to be OK.

- Trying to prepare a document without any private information in it to attach to this report.

Ignore any references to Google Drive.
Comment 3 David Ruggiero 2021-11-29 20:42:01 UTC
Ignore any references to Google Drive above - can reproduce problem even with local folder that is not in any related to Google Drive. Appears to be a LibreOffice issue alone.

Not a bug / NTF after update.

Thanks for coming back to update the status of this report. It sounds like this was a problem in an earlier LO version, that went away when you tried it in the most recent version.

If you take a look at the descriptions in:
    https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bugzilla/Fields/Status/RESOLVED

That should be marked as RESOLVED WORKSFORME.
