Created attachment 176422 [details] LO line style names at 7.2 Long and Double are descriptors of how line styles are composed. A Long Dash is a wider dash than a Dash, while a Long Dot occupies the same spacing--but the dot doesn't change (square or round dots). Long in this context is element width spacing. Would only cause confusion to change to "Sparse" for Dots but not for Dashes which clearly are not sparse.
