Description: Gradient is not displayed in the same way in work space and slide show. Please see attached file Thank you for listening ! Steps to Reproduce: Create a file as simple as the one attached with a master slide containing a linear gradient as backgroud (slide properties) Actual Results: Gradient is not displayed in the same way in work space and slide show Expected Results: Gradient displayed in the same way in work space and slide show Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.2.2.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 02b2acce88a210515b4a5bb2e46cbfb63fe97d56 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR Calc: CL

Replicated with the attached file. Version: 7.3.4.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 728fec16bd5f605073805c3c9e7c4212a0120dc5 CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR Calc: CL Quoting https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=69183 from 2014 : "Presentation mode has very different handling and displaying of gradients/transparency (especially the two combined) that can radically alter or sometimes look almost errored compared to non-presentation mode viewing. " Thanks for listening
Created attachment 181353 [details] Small example that reproduces the issue The file contains a 90° gradient black->white When you start the slideshow, it switches to 0° black -> dark grey
Still reproducible in Version: 7.3.4.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 30(Build:2) CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 5.18; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.utf8); UI: de-DE 7.3.4-2 Calc: threaded
(In reply to Kurt Huwig from comment #4) > Still reproducible in > > Version: 7.3.4.2 / LibreOffice Community > Build ID: 30(Build:2) > CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 5.18; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 > Locale: de-DE (de_DE.utf8); UI: de-DE > 7.3.4-2 > Calc: threaded I can't reproduce on Linux with either attachment, with LO 7.2 or 7.3: Version: 7.3.7.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: e114eadc50a9ff8d8c8a0567d6da8f454beeb84f CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded I think what Gwenaël describes is specific to Windows+Skia, so if you still see an issue on Linux, Kurt, please report it in a separate bug. I can't reproduce it on Windows with Skia turned off, but I can with it turned on: Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 9b46020c262045aed0beace4708565235c2523cc CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded In such a recent version of LO, it looks slightly different because of the regression reported in bug 147645. The issue Gwenaẽl can see in LO 7.2, I can see exactly as described in attachment 176438 [details]: Version: 7.2.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 2a7ea282da28d665a7dc086360567b4aea27bf08 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded It's the same in 7.1: Version: 7.1.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: f6099ecf3d29644b5008cc8f48f42f4a40986e4c CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded But not in 7.0: Version: 7.0.0.3 (x64) Build ID: 8061b3e9204bef6b321a21033174034a5e2ea88e CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded It is therefore a regression. (In 7.0, the gradient is correct but shows visible lines along the gradient, which was fixed in bug 136523.) A few gradient-related fixes made it into LO 7.1: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=RESOLVED&bug_status=VERIFIED&f1=status_whiteboard&list_id=1539605&o1=substring&query_format=advanced&resolution=FIXED&short_desc=gradient&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&v1=target%3A7.1 Lubos, you did a fair bit of that gradient work for 7.1, would you mind having a look?
*** Bug 147939 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
I still can reproduce it on Linux with 7.4.3.2, so I've created 152641
This issue depends on disabled Hardware acceleration, as I learned from "Bug 152641 - SLIDESHOW Shape gradient angle not reflected when presenting"
Kurt, I'm not sure what the point is in commenting here, and then opening a new bug report on the same issue months later, but nevertheless, since that one has more useful comments, let's close this as duplicate of bug 152641. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 152641 ***

Aaron, please see my comment 5: I asked Kurt to open a new one as I originally thought what Gwenaël reported was Skia-specific and unrelated to Kurt's issue. My bad.
(In reply to Stéphane Guillou (stragu) from comment #10) > Aaron, please see my comment 5: I asked Kurt to open a new one as I > originally thought what Gwenaël reported was Skia-specific and unrelated to > Kurt's issue. My bad. Ah, I missed that, my mistake. Fortunately, I can confirm the bug originates from the same commit both with Skia and non-Skia.
