When opening an existing .ods file featuring multiple pages, unexpected comments (revision info?) are now displayed and cannot be hidden since COMMENTS option is disabled in the DISPLAY menu. (see attached screen copy)
This occured after installation of version 7.1.7.2.
It does not affect all pages of the documents...

Thank you for reporting the bug. Please attach a sample document, as this makes it easier for us to verify the bug.
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the requested document is provided.

Comment 2 marc.giordani 2021-11-26 08:25:43 UTC
In the mean time, I found the source of the problem:
For some "unknown reasons" the document was put in the EDITION MODE with the displaying of modifications ACTIVE!?!
Up to now, I NEVER activated this option for any file when working with Libre Office!!?!?
So I deactivated it and everything went back to normal.
Sorry for the false alarm and inconvenience (but I still don't understand how it could append...)

You may close the bug.
