DDE link Break not working from writer.

Step to reproduce.

1. Copy a table from calc spreadsheet. 
2. Paste as DDE link in writer.Save document. 
3. Break link using 'link to external file'.
4. Save document. Exit. Reopen file.
4. Document is having same linked table again. No effect of breaking.

Afterreporter's step 3menu 'Edit -> update ...' is greyed, so it looks as if function has worked. But in step 4 'Edit -> update ...' has returned.

identified.
