"Move visible area to hide cell H5", in Description above, is equivalent to scroll to the right so that column H is no more visible. Additionally: If do you select H5 and scroll down so that line 5 is no more visible, and choose menu View - Freeze Rows and Columns, only columns freeze. If do you select H5 and scroll right so that column H is no more visible, and scroll down so that line 5 is no more visible, and choose menu View - Freeze Rows and Columns, no lines nor columns freeze. If do you select Z99 and scroll left so that column Z is no more visible, and scroll up so that line 99 is no more visible, and choose menu View - Freeze Rows and Columns, no lines nor columns freeze, AND line 99 is shown in the upper border of the edit window.
