Description Winfried Donkers 2021-12-08 10:33:40 UTC
Description:
When applying backgound colours to cells, the toolbar button 'Background colour' uses the last used colour as default.
But when inserting a Note to a cell, the default colour of the button changes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open a blank spreadsheet
2.select cell A1 and use toolbar button to apply a background colour (not the initial default colour of yellow)
3.the button shows the last used colour in its icon
4.right click with the mouse on cell A1 and choose Insert Note
5.type test and click with mouse in cell B5 to close note
6.the toolbar button no longer shows the last used colour, but the initial default colour in its icon

Actual Results:
toolbar button Background Colour shows initial default colour (Yellow) in its icon

Expected Results:
toolbar button Background Colour to remain showing the last used colour in its icon

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
It looks like the button is re-initialised after closing the Note instead of reinstated.

Note:
The earliest version where I noticed the problem is 7.2.4.1, but that is not yet available...
The version that was updated to 7.2.4.1 was 7.1.7 and that did not show the problem.

Quicker steps
- apply red background to a any cell
- insert a comment and leave that cell
Notice that the last used background is not red, but is the default yelow.
