Description Roy Dyton 2021-12-10 15:51:17 UTC
Description:
Wanted to print 20 duplex copies on HP Photosmart Printer. Defaulted to single copy printing and this repeated every time I re-sent the print order. LibreOffice release 7.2.3.2 with Ubuntu 20.04

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Normal print command in LO where I changed the default "print one copy" to "print N copies"
2.
3.

Actual Results:
One page only printed

Expected Results:
N pages to print

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
No information to add. This appears to be a very basic bug

Roy, thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) and re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present.
Comment 2 Timur 2021-12-25 16:48:53 UTC
Of problem persists after user reset /delete, please clarify if problem is only with duplex printing of multiple copies.
Please attach screenshot of print settings.
Comment 3 Roy Dyton 2021-12-29 13:49:39 UTC
The problem only occurs with duplex printing. Today, I sent the same A5 letter to print 2 copies but it only printed one copy. I attach a scan of the print screen. Other responses to my bugzilla report suggest I should reset my personal profile - but do not understand what is expected.

Most the time I use a Laserjet for bulk printing but this does not have a duplex feature. The colour printer with duplex is used less frequently and links to my computer via CUPS - Ubuntu 20.04
